Unlike any other creature, we are interdependent upon each other. We cannot live alone. Many things bring us together, but none are as powerful as the written word. Through writing, we record our legacy for future generations. Through these words, we can truly understand who we are, who we have been, and who we may become.

There are many genres of writing, but few examples that truly capture our essence. We start with a raw, basic foundation, but through our experiences and identity, we grow and mature. Our lives are enriched when we take the time to explore the wealth and depth offered up by writers who have come before us, leaving behind gems and pearls for us to discover.
